For 65 years, the baseball cards inside this cello pack have been sealed away, just waiting to see the light of day. We're talking about a time when minimum wage was $1.15 per hour, the Grammy Awards had only been around for three years, and Elvis ruled the radio. This 1961 Topps Series 1 baseball cello pack is ready to be opened, and you can be the original owner of card from the 1960s!
Topps released their 1961 set in multiple series, much as they still do today. This cello pack is from the first series. Cards numbered 1-88 make up the first series and include a few legendary names!

Pulling a pack-fresh 1961 Roger Maris would be phenomenal! Maris set the single-season MLB home run record in 1961 when he mashed 61 homers, passing Babe Ruth's 60.
The leaders cards include Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Sandy Koufax, and a who's who of baseball royalty. While the main cards are more valuable, like the Maris at card #2, being the one and only, original owner of a card with Hank Aaron and Ernie Banks on it together is a dream! We love those leaders cards.

If you have never joined a pack break before, the process is simple. There are 12 cards in this cello pack. Only 12 spots will be offered for sale. Once all spots are sold, our sister company, Vintage Breaks, will go live on their stream. The list of all names in the break will be shown on the screen, and dice will be rolled. The list is randomized according to the numbers on the dice. The cards are then given out in order of the randomized list. Example: If a 10 is rolled, the list is randomized 10 times. The first person at the top the list after the random gets the top card from the cello pack. The cards are then handed out in order until the 12th person on the list receives the final card in the pack.
This cello pack has been graded by PSA. As you can see, the first card in the cello pack is #39 Leo Posada. The last card in the pack is #13 Bob Schmidt. We can't wait to see what is in the middle! Ready to find out?
