1962 Topps Baseball 5th Series Cello Pack Available

Rare Sealed Pack Courtesy of Our Sister Company, Vintage Breaks
  • June 20, 2022

A sealed 1962 Topps baseball pack from the 5th series is now available through our sister company, Vintage Breaks. We love teaming with Vintage Breaks when it comes to offering rare opportunities like this. Which treasures might side in this 60-year-old pack? Potentially a big-time rookie card of a Hall of Fame player.

It's not often a pack of 1962 Topps baseball cards becomes available! Our sister company, Vintage Breaks, just listed a 5th series cello pack and are offering spots in their card breaks.

Topps releases their cards in 7 different series in 1962. Releasing cards in series throughout the year was great for Topps and distributors as it kept kids continuously buying packs of cards during the entire baseball season. Had Topps released all cards at once in their packs, kids would build a complete set early in the year and have no need to purchase additional packs later in the Summer. Topps still does this today. Series 2 for the 2022 release just came out last week. The later series also allows time for Topps to include rookies called up during the year, too. So which cards were released in the 5th series of 1962 Topps baseball cards? How about a Hall of Famer's rookie card, and well-known all-stars.

New call-to-action

The 5th series contains cards from #371-446. In that run is #387, the rookie card of Lou Brock! A first-ballot Hall of Famer, Brock is a member of the 3,000 hit club, won two World Series championships and was the all-time stolen base leader when he hung up his cleats after 1979. A few all-star cards are in this series including Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Frank Robinson, and Warren Spahn. Card #401 features Roger Maris the year after he broke Babe Ruth's record of 60 homers with his new mark of 61.

New call-to-action

There are 12 cards in this cello pack, so Vintage Breaks is only offering on 12 spots. Each spot your purchase guarantees you 1 card at random from the pack; nobody goes home emptyhanded in the break. The list of names in the break is always randomized LIVE on the show as the break occurs. After the random, if you land on spot number 1, you will receive the first card in the pack. Spot 2 receives the second card, and the break will continue through all 12 spots like this.
