A 1972 Topps basketball wax pack, fresh from a sealed box, is available with our sister company, Vintage Breaks. If you love vintage basketball cards and card breaks, this is for you! The 1972 set contains the rookie card of Dr. J Julius Erving as well as cards from legendary players like Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Vintage Breaks is opening a sealed box of 1972 Topps Basketball live on their card breaks show and you could purchase a pack from the box.
1972 TOPPS BASKETBALL WAX PACK
Topps produced a 264-card set in '72, with the top card being # 195, Dr. J! Julius Erving did it all on court. Dr. J won the MVP award in both the NBA and the ABA. He won titles in both leagues. A winner of the Slam Dunk Contest and All-Star Game MVP, Dr. J was a walking highlight. Also in the set, and possibly in this pack of cards, are legends like Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Adbul-Jabbar, Oscar Robertson, Pete Maravich, and more! Of the 264 cards in the set, there are 51 that feature a Hall of Famer.
Vintage Breaks will open this box of 1972 Topps basketball. Inside the box are 24 packs of cards, and each pack contains 10 cards. We hope that your pack has one of the 51 cards with a Hall of Fame player! Vintage Breaks will open the box of cards once the break sells out and randomize the list of names that purchased spots in the break live on the show. When it comes time for your pack, you can watch the breakers open the treasure and reveal your cards. These cards will then be shipped to you. Take a trip back to 1972 when Mikey liked Life cereal, The Godfather was in theatres, and Don McClean dropped American Pie.

If you can make the trip here like the son from my hometown did for this collection- we can make a deal at the office. We once met a father-son duo that drove eight hours from Virginia to meet us to sell a Michael Jordan rookie card stored in Tupperware since 1986 - great read here.
- Come to a convention
We keep a LIST of the card shows we'll be attending. Come stop by the Just Collect table and chat.
- Meet in-person
If you have a valuable collection and want us to come to you, we'll hop on the next plane out. We recently took a trip to California to purchase a collection that included three Jackie Robinson 1948 Leaf rookie cards that you can read about here.

- SHIP your collection
If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back with shipping fees paid by us! We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us. Simply contact the office to set up this option.
