The NBA All-Star weekend is underway, and Michael Jordan just celebrated his 60th birthday. We know you're itching for a card of The GOAT! The cure for your basketball fever is here with our sister company,
We love teaming up with our sister company, Vintage Breaks, especially when it could help you land a Michael Jordan rookie card!
Those are just a few of the highlights in the set break. As there are 132 cards in the set, only 132 spots in the break will be sold - this ensures that you will take home a card from the set. The list of name is always randomized LIVE on the show as the break occurs. The spot you land on will the card you receive. For example: If your name lands on spot 57, you take home MJ!
The cards you see above are the exact cards in the break. We want to take you back to 1986 when the wax packs the cards came in originally set you back a whopping 40 cents, and saving the princess in Super Mario Bros was your only concern. If you were lucky enough to get a Nintendo in 1986, that is. We had to wait until 1990; we're not bitter still, though... Those were the days.
In the Jordan rookie card, he's throwing down a signature dunk with his tongue out. You can see the Fleer boarders of red, white, and blue making that old school Chicago Bulls jersey pop! That PSA 9 would look amazing in your collection. This set is the home to rookie cards of other all-time legends like Ewing, Barkley, Olajuwon, Isiah Thomas, Karl Malone, and Dominque Wilkins. That photo above with five legends looking smooth in those PSA holders could also be going home to you!
Tonight is the NBA Slam Dunk contest on TNT. We're hoping Trey Murphy III, Kenyon Martin Jr., Jericho Sims, and Mac McClung can give us a thriller like MJ and Dominique did in 1988! Michael Jordan turned 60 yesterday - we bet he could still throw down a monster and give the kids a run for their money.
