Best Places to Find the Value of Your Sports Cards

The Top Apps and Website to Lear How Much Your Cards are Worth
  • August 21, 2025

What is my card worth? That's the first question we are asked, and it's the best question! Just Collect will tell you the best places to find the value of your cards so when you're ready to buy, trade, or sell, you'll make the best deal possible.

Knowing the value of cards is important! We know you want the most value for your cards when you sell. If you trade a card, being on the wrong end could deter you from making future trades. When you purchase a card, you'll kick yourself if you overpay. Today, we'll show you the best places to find values of cards!

CARD LADDER

On the Card Ladder website, you'll find they sate the most up-to-date values can be searched as they have a database containing every public sale going back 25 years! Public sales include auction houses like Lelands, Heritage, and Goldin. eBay sales and the new Fanatics Collect data are helpful, too. There is a FREE service for Card Ladder, but sales history is under their paid services. To see the differences between a free account and a paid account, check out their pricing page.

VINTAGE CARD PRICING (VCP)

The "VCP" site boats comprehensive sales data and also includes an app card scan! You could scan your card and quickly see valuation. On the site, you'll also find Yesterdays Top Gainers and Yesterdays Top Decliners to see cards that are increasing or decreasing in value in the last day! A free account is available, but the majority of the features fall under the paid account, and you can see the differences between the accounts HERE.

130 POINT

eBay and market place sales are available on 130 Point and a wonderful feature includes upcoming releases of new product and the value of each. Release date - product - brand - average price for products releasing each week is a feature you may enjoy when looking to take the cash from a sale you made to buy a new box of cards.

eBAY

We know you're familiar with eBay, but the one key thing most people miss when looking up cards is to filter by SOLD items. Anyone can list a 1987 Topps Bo Jackson card for $1,000, but while nostalgic, there are way too many zeros on that price for such a card. It is imperative that you filter by SOLD items on eBay to find true prices.

JUST COLLECT

Hey, that's us! The retail stores are focused on selling modern products and simply don't have the time or the knowledge to carefully evaluate vintage collections. This is where we are happy to help you! We have purchased thousands upon thousands of collections and bought and sold over 50 MILLION dollars in cards. We always offer a free appraisal, too!

If you're looking to purchase a vintage card from the likes of Mickey MantleJoe Namath, or a more more modern card like a Michael Jordan rookie card, you can see our inventory HERE.

Just Collect is always BUYING cards and collections, too! A few recent collections we purchased are:
