This week we are offering a 1935 National Chicle #34 Bronko Nagurski HOF Bears SGC 30 football card. Considered the Holy Grail of 20th Century football cards, Bronko Nagurski was issued in the extremely scarce High Number Series of the 1935 National Chicle Football set.

This stunning exemplar presents with an obverse that appears as a solid EX/MT and features rarely seen boldness of colors and incredible clarity and registration. The strong corners accent nicely centered borders. The vivid colors highlight the image and are so clear that the uniform pants appear to be a shimmering gold and the rosiness can be seen in Bronko’s cheeks as "Nags" appears ready to charge off the face of the cardboard for another long gain. The reverse is clean and presents as nicely as the front except for a small portion of paper loss in the lower left portion of the text. This flaw, noted by the technical grade assigned, is the only detriment to this marvelous example grading far higher.

In a day when eye appeal and presentation often outweigh technical grades, this card is a prime example of the former. For the discriminating buyer wanting incredible presentation and quality, this offering affords an incredible opportunity and incredible value normally expected in a card that would cost $7000-10,000 or more!
