You’re into the errors? The variations? You get a thrill out of chasing the card that’s just a bit more elusive than what you already have at home, do ya’? Well then, let me introduce you to the finest little piece of “strange” you’re gonna come across this week, a 1958 Topps #30 Yellow Letters Hank Aaron graded “7” by PSA. It has all the qualities of a prime “pack fresh” example with flawless color, perfect gloss, particularly bright, bold green background, nice centering and sharp corners but it also has just that little extra something you don’t normally see, the Hall of Famers name in yellow instead of the standard white.

Typically the 1958 Topps cards suffer from a variety of condition problems, including print defects and a tendency to have soft corners, which make high-grade examples such as this particularly difficult to find. When you add that to the fact that that of the thirty-three “Yellow Letter” variation cards in the classic 1958 Topps set the Hank Aaron, along with the Clemente, are far and away the most highly sought after cards of the bunch, and what you’re looking at here is a special piece that all your friends will envy. Have a Yellow Letter or ’58 Topps set of your own you’re looking to part with? Give us a call. Just collect is always buying vintage sports and non-sports cards.
