This week we bring you the very difficult 1969 Topps White Letter variation of Mickey Mantle's last regular issue Topps card professionally graded EX/MT PSA 6 by Professional Sports Authenticator. The 1969 issue is widely desired by Mantle collectors because it includes his final Major League statistics (Mantle retired during Spring Training before the 1969 season). Even more appealing is that this card is the incredibly difficult White Letter variation that features Mantle's last name in White Letters rather than the Yellow Letters that were used for the more "common" issue. The White Letter variations are highly desired and carry a significant premium. This example presents with very strong centering which is a common flaw with this card. Mantle's image, posing in his left-handed batting stance, features incredible clarity, focus are registration. The reverse is clean and bold.
