High-Grade Mickey Mantle & Jackie Robinson Cards Purchased at the National

TWENTY FIVE Mickey Mantle and Jackie Robinson cards! High-grade cards of baseball legends were purchased today at the National Sports Collectors Convention.

The National Sports Collectors Convention NEVER disappoints! We are here in Chicago for the big show, buying and selling collections. Some of our favorite cards to purchase are Mickey Mantle and Jackie Robinson, and we proudly made multiple deals today to buy 25 (!) cards of these iconic players right at our booths during the show.

Our owner, Leighton, met with Jason today. We offered Jason our for his graded-card collection. Leighton carefully reviewed high-grade Jackie Robinson cards including a 1949 Bowman PSA 5, 1950 Bowman graded PSA 6.5, 1955 Topps graded PSA 8, and 1956 Topps graded SGC 8. To give you an idea on the grades and scarcity, of the 7,496 1955 Topps Jackie cards PSA has graded, only 27 have been graded higher than this PSA 8! After reviewing the collection, Leighton made a fair offer to Jason which he happily accepted. Leighton then paid Jason how he wanted to be paid, right at the booth. Our Vice President, John, was at the booth, buying and selling collections all day, too! A collector brought 21 Mickey Mantle cards to John for a free appraisal. One card that stands out among the 21 is a 1955 Bowman Mantle graded BVG 7. That card holds a special place in our hearts as at the 2018 National Sports Collectors convention, we opened a 1955 Bowman cello pack live on the stage and pulled a pack-fresh Mickey Mantle! You can see the video of the pull HERE. Along with the 1955 Bowman are Mantle cards from the 1954 Bowman set, 1960 Topps, 1962 Topps, 1966 Topps, and more! Just like Leighton helped Jason, John helped this Mantle collector with an easy process. John paid the collector in cash after each reached a deal to purchase all 21 Mickey Mantle cards.     • From the River Road entrance into the Main Lobby, take a left. Walk straight. Bathrooms are on your left and as you approach the concessions stand, you'll see our booths! We are right on the aisle and easy to find.

If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back shipping fees paid by us!  We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us. Simply contact the office to set up this option.
