Hall of Fame catcher, Johnny Bench, is selling his personal collection at the Louisville Slugger Museum auction next month.  You could own Bench's two World Series trophies, a championship ring, and more from the fourteen-time all-star.

Johnny Bench, one of the greatest baseball players in the history of the game, is auctioning items from his playing days.  Enjoying a career spanning 17 seasons, Bench racked up PLENTY of hardware that will soon be available to you.

**WHERE:**

- Annual Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory Live Auction

**WHERE:**

- Public preview November 12th - November 13th
- Live auction Saturday, November 14th

The auction house handling all of Bench's items is Hunt Auctions, the same house that just bought us the [Vin Scully collection](https://blog.justcollect.com/vin-scully-auctioning-personal-collection-that-includes-world-series-rings).

**ITEMS:**

Over 150 lots with incredible pieces such as:

- 1970 N.L. Championship ring

- 1968 Rookie of the Year award
- 1975 World Series Trophy
- 1976 World Series Trophy
- Bat used for 389th and final home run
- Gold Glove Awards from 1969-1977

Bench, a two-time league MVP, and first-ballot hall of famer, is planning to use the proceeds of his sales to help fund his sons' educations.  Bench has three sons, ages 30, 14, and 11.

How AWESOME would it be to not only own a piece of history straight from one of the best to ever do it, but to win that item in the[ Louisville Slugger Museum](https://www.sluggermuseum.com/)?  When you think baseball bat, there are no other names that come to to the top of your list faster than a Louisville Slugger.  If you're unable to make the drive to Kentucky, you can check out the Hunt auction on-line [here](https://huntauctions.com/index.cfm).

Let us know if you buy anything at the auction; we'd love to see!  You can post your cool stuff here on the site or on our [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/JustCollect).
