1977 Topps CLOTH baseball wax packs are back in stock with our sister company, Vintage Breaks! This fun, vintage product provides great odds at pulling a star card for your personal collection
Our sister company, , offers you card breaks in a wide variety of products. One of the best products to land a star or a Hall of Fame player is back in stock today, and we LOVE this set!
1977 TOPPS BASEBALL CLOTH PACKS
Rather than your typical card stock, Topps released a fun set of cards on a cloth material with a sticky back. These cards were meant to be peeled off and used as stickers for sticker books, bed posts, walls, or my little brother's face (sorry, mom). While the Topps annual release was 660 cards in 1977, the Cloth set is just 55 total cards. The checklist being much smaller provides a nice opportunity to pull a star or Hall of Fame player.
Of the 55 players in the set, 19 are in the Hall of Fame. Just to name a few of the HOFers:
- Nolan Ryan
- Reggie Jackson
- Tom Seaver
- Mike Schmidt
- George Brett
- Lou Brock
- Johnny Bench
The list is filled with big-name players. You'll also find players with fine careers that fell short of the Hall such as Thurman Munson and Steve Garvey.
Each pack was released with 2 cards and that delicious stick of gum you remember so well. The year your life changed on May 25th and you quoted "May the Force be with you" (and still quote today). When Blinded By The Light was on your radio, and you were happy that the Really Rottens never won on the Laff-A-Lympics. The big move in baseball was Reggie Jackson signing a huge contract (5 years for 3.5 million) in the off-season. Reggie is in his Yankees pinstripes on the 1977 Topps Cloth card on his way to hitting 3 home runs in Game 6 of the World Series where he earned the nickname "Mr. October."
Vintage Breaks is offering two options in their card breaks: by-the-card OR personal pack.
- By-the-card assures you one card in the pack. Each spot you purchase = 1 card from the pack. Each spot is $27.50 here:
- Personal pack = all cards in the pack are yours. Each pack is $50 here:
Speaking of Reggie - Vintage Breaks pulled a pack-fresh Reggie Jackson card out of a 1977 Topps Cloth pack at the National last year! In the same pack was another HOF'er, Jim Palmer. Check out the video:

We offer many ways to evaluate your cards other than using our website, too.
If you can make the trip here like the son from my hometown did for this collection- we can make a deal at the office. We once met a father-son duo that drove eight hours from Virginia to meet us to sell a Michael Jordan rookie card stored in Tupperware since 1986 - great read here.
We keep a LIST of the card shows we'll be attending. Come stop by the Just Collect table and chat.
If you have a valuable collection and want us to come to you, we'll hop on the next plane out. We recently took a trip to California to purchase a collection that included three Jackie Robinson 1948 Leaf rookie cards that you can read about here.
We have another location in New York you can meet us at; read all the information here.
If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back with shipping fees paid by us! We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us. Simply contact the office to set up this option.
OUR BUYING PHILOSOPHY

So when you're ready to sell, we understand the feelings that you're going through and will work with you to help you reach a decision that is a WIN/WIN, because if you're not happy, we're not happy.
