One of the most talked about sets from the 1940's was, and still is, the American Beauty set, which was produced during World War II. This set consists of 24 different cards, with each one portraying provocatively posed women, known as pin-ups. Once released, collector's couldn't wait to get their hands on this set, and the popularity has grown ever since.

As with most sets from this era, the American Beauty set continues to fetch interest due it's scarcity and demand for high grades. Only about 1200 examples from this set have been encapsulated by PSA, with the majority grading out in the EX to Near Mint range. This week, we are proud to offer you four examples from this nostalgic set, all graded above the normal collected threshold. We have three examples in Mint condition, and one example in Gem Mint condition- something you almost never see. Truth be told, out of the 1,237 examples graded with PSA, only 24 have gotten the distinction of being called Gem Mint- that's less than 2%! Don't miss out on this rare chance to own an example from one of the most popular non-sports sets in the hobby!
