This week we are auctioning off this incredible 1955 Bowman Baseball Complete Set filled with Hall of Famers like Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays and many more! This Bowman Set introduced not only this unique design but also the type of cardboard which were extremely susceptible to border or corner chipping. The Centering is another issue. These cards were not only commonly found off-center, but the centering is actually very difficult to determine because of the design of the cards themselves. It's very noticeable when it comes to the top to bottom centering measurements. Even though this set had some flaws and overlooked by many collectors, it still packed with star power. The Willie Mays and Hank Aaron cards are very popular, with the Aaron example being his first Bowman issue. The same can be said for the Ernie Banks card. Of course, we can't forget about Mickey Mantle, which Bowman can declare to have his only mainstream card for this year.
