If you grew up in the 1970s—or were collecting baseball cards— we're betting you bought a lot of Kellogg’s cereal. From 1970 through 1983, the company faithfully produced a new set of ‘3-D’ style cards which were inserted into the various brands it produced.  Save up a few box tops and send a couple of bucks and you could order the whole set. The Kellogg’s cards were very popular with collectors and adults often ordered them by the dozens after convincing friends, neighbors and relatives to save box tops for them. When grading companies began accepting them, many collectors took sets they'd been storing for years, opened them and sent the pristine cards in to be encapsulated. This week, we're offering a selection of high grade Kellogg’s cards in our eBay auctions.  Considering their age and their uniqueness, we think Kellogg’s baseball cards are very underrated in terms of price.  We have many for auction but also a large selection available for immediate purchase through ‘Buy it Now’. The Kellogg’s sets are easy to put together, even in graded form, because there were usually only a few dozen different cards issued.  However, they're also attractive to player and team collectors. We've got numerous stars including a PSA 10 1975 Nolan Ryan that any collector would love to have.  Many of these stars, even in mint, graded form, sell for less than $20. There are some Kellogg’s that have proven elusive in PSA 9 or 10 grades because of problematic and consistent issues with the printing process.   We have a few ‘low pop’ cards available as well. Virtually every 1970s and 80s Kellogg set is represented in our inventory but the auction portion will close Sunday so please check them out quickly! We love older, oddball cards, especially those in high grade.  If you have a quantity for sale, please let us know and we can discuss possible consignment or purchase opportunities.
