With the National set to begin next week, JustCollect wants to bring the fun back to the hobby and what better way than with a vintage pack rip. Well, actually 24 packs being ripped simultaneously!!! A complete 1981 Topps Football Cello Box, purchased from a recent auction house in November of last year and still as packaged by the auction house, will be made available at the National in Cleveland, OH on Saturday August 2nd, for 24 lucky participants to engage in a pack war — winner takes all! The packs will be offered at a price point that recoups the cost of the box purchase, There is no profit being made and the cellos being offered are below market price for a box-fresh offering. This is intended to be FUN! The details? Well, there’s the chance for a GEM MINT Joe Montana rookie card. The last PSA 10 recently sold for over $10,000.00 at public auction. In fact, there’s the chance of more than one Montana. The winner of the pack war will walk away with the contents of ALL 24 packs and the empty cello box. We'll also provide CardSavers for the best cards! The rules? Simple, entry is $30.00 per pack and the packs will be issued via random drawing just before the pack war and must be opened at the booth as part of the pack war. The person with the highest number card drawn from the cello is the winner of all 24 packs. In the event of a tie, only those tied with the highest number card will select the next highest number card from their pack until there is a winner. In the event of an unbreakable tie (identical packs), JustCollect will reserve the right to determine the winner (s). Time? 4:00PM Saturday August 2nd at Booth 521/620. All 24 packs must be paid for and claimed before the pack war begins. JustCollect will not participate in the event and the cello wrappers and gum will be put in the trash! If a pack presents a Joe Montana on the front or back of the pack, the person receiving that pack may opt out of the rip and keep the pack. This is the ONLY instance where a pack can be removed from the pack war. To reiterate the rules:
