David Ortiz will be signing autographs in Cooperstown, NY. after his induction at the Baseball Hall of Fame this Summer! So far there will be 20 additional Hall of Fame players joining Big Papi to sign your items and take pictures with you.

The Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony is one of the most enjoyable weekends of the Summer. In the tiny village of Cooperstown, NY. (population only 1,869) resides a museum of treasures like you could never imagine. The Baseball Hall of Fame museum holds items such as game-used bats that Babe Ruth swung, jerseys that Hank Aaron wore, awards players have won like the MVP or Gold Glove trophies, and a case filled with World Series rings. Of course, the Hall of Fame plaques of each player inducted are hung for you to see. During induction weekend, the town transforms into THE place to be for a baseball fan. If you need tips for the weekend, we have a great article here for you. Nearly every step down Main Street you'll find a card and memorabilia shop, a place to grab a bite (we love Tin Bin Alley and the homemade fudge), and there's a chance you'll find an autograph singing with a baseball legend! This is the part we enjoy most about the weekend; meeting the players we idolized growing up. The current list of players signing over induction weekend is AWESOME and it includes this year's headliner, David Ortiz.

AUTOGRAPH LIST (SO FAR):

Hall of Fame Signings has announced that at 124c Main Street in Cooperstown (you can see this building from the steps of the Baseball Hall of Fame; it's that close), a few of the guests will include:

  • Andrew Dawson
  • Ozzie Smith
  • Rod Carew
  • Johnny Bench
  • Vladimir Guerrero Sr.
  • Pedro Martinez
  • Robin Yount
  • + MORE!

The BIG name here is the man of the weekend - David Ortiz. Papi will be signing autographs and taking photos for Hall of Fame Signings on Monday, July 25th at 12:00 PM. What's nice about this time slot is it will benefit both Papi and you. Most of the players will be signing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, allowing you time to get the autograph you would like. Papi will be quite busy, enjoying the big moment, so signing on Monday allows me him to do so. A Monday signing probably means a smaller crowd, too, which means better wait times in line on your end!
