Free Cards on National Baseball Card Day

Today is a National Holiday in our world!  Almost as good as Christmas morning, today is the day you can stroll into your local card shop and walk out with a FREE pack of special Topps cards!  Check out a full list of locations where National Baseball Card Day is happening!

Ever dream of walking into a card shop and being handed a free pack of baseball cards?  Today is THE day that actually happens.

WHEN:

  • Saturday, August 8th

HOW:

  • Thanks to TOPPS, all you need to do is visit a participating card shop around the Nation, and you'll be handed (while supplies last) a free five-pack of special 2020 Topps cards.  Some cards may be autographed, too!

WHERE:

  • LIST of Participating Card Shops HERE

THE CARDS:

The BASE set is 30 cards deep.  There is one player per team represented, so you won't miss out no matter which team you root for (even if it is the Astros...).

New Phenoms such as Luis Robert are available, as well as future Hall of Famers like Miguel Cabrera.  The full checklist is HERE.

Autographs are placed on 20 cards!  While no odds are given, you can't beat a free autograph either way.  The auto LIST has Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Pete Alonso and other major names in the game.

Speaking of Alonso, The Polar Bear is part of another promotion; a purchase results in a separate, special card. Spending $10 or more on any Topps product nabs you a exclusive Pete Alonso that won't be given out in the free packs.  Returning Saturday, August 15th, and spening another $10 + on Topps will get you a similar version of Yordan Alvarez!  You don't have to make a purchase to get you free five-pack of cards, but there are a few bonuses if you do buy Topps today.

HELPING YOUR HOBBY

National Baseball Card Day is a perfect way to get kids into the hobby, ensuring our passion will continue for years to come.  Even if you're an adult, thinking about getting back into collecting because you hear about it so frequently these days, what better way than getting a free look - if you like, keep it up!

NBCD is also a great way to help your local card shop, which may have had to close down for months due to Covid-19.  If you're a collector, you don't want to see the LCS close up; this promotion gets collectors and would-be collectors into the door, helping your dealer get back on their feet.
