Your chance to own a Hank Aaron rookie card is here today! This iconic card of The Hammer is available in a new set break for the COMPLETE set of 1954 Topps baseball cards and you could buy a spot now. Not only is Aaron in the set but so are legendary players like Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, Ted Williams, and more. See how you could own a card from this beautiful set.
We're proud to team up with our sister company, Vintage Breaks for this amazing 1954 Topps baseball set break!
The 1954 Topps complete set having only 250 cards makes each card desirable; the set is filled with stars. Did you know there are TWO Ted Williams cards in this set? Teddy Ballgame is card #1 and card #250! He returned from his military service that year. We love that Topps did this for one of the greatest ever to play the game. You may recall that Williams joined the Navy Reserve during WWII but was then called back into duty during the Korean War where he flew on 39 missions! Below you can see card #250 with Williams swinging for the fences in the action shot and giving us a classic smile in the posed shot. This card is graded SGC 4.
As there are 250 cards in the break, only 250 spots in the break will be sold - this ensures that you will take home a card from the set. The list of names is always randomized LIVE on the show as the break occurs; you have the same chance as everyone else in the break to land the cards you desire. For example, after the randomization, if your name is in spot 10, card #10 is yours - the Jackie Robinson card! Speaking of Jackie, have you seen the THREE rookie cards we purchased recently in the California Love Collection?
Every spot you purchase will bring a vintage card from the 1954 Topps set to your personal collection.
This set, with the vibrant colors in the background really pops in the "tux" look that SGC holders provide. The eight cards you see above are the exact cards from this set break. Look how young Hank Aaron and Ernie Banks look in their rookie cards above, too. Aaron waiting to field a ball and Banks looking to zero in on a pitch. A rookie Al Kaline could be kneeling in the on-deck circle with the bat in that card you see. Jackie Robinson making a spectacular play in the field perhaps on his card here. Willie Mays in that yellow background next to Ted Williams might be slugging one of his 660 career home runs. Whitey Ford in blue with a ball in his hand in the year he made his first All-Star team. Last but certainly not least is three-time MVP Yogi Berra with the green background, holding his glove out - maybe waiting for that pitch from Ford?
Travel back in time when you collected this set as a kid or you heard your dad tell you stories about opening up these wax packs in search of his favorite cards. Back in 1954 when a color TV set from RCA was $1,000 (about 10,547.06 today!), and Mr. Sandman was ready to bring you a dream as The Chordettes played on the radio.

If you can make the trip here like the son from my hometown did for this collection- we can make a deal at the office. We once met a father-son duo that drove eight hours from Virginia to meet us to sell a Michael Jordan rookie card stored in Tupperware since 1986 - great read here.
We keep a LIST of the card shows we'll be attending. Come stop by the Just Collect table and chat.
If you have a valuable collection and want us to come to you, we'll hop on the next plane out. We recently took a trip to California to purchase a collection that included three Jackie Robinson 1948 Leaf rookie cards that you can read about here.
We have another location in New York you can meet us at; read all the information here.
If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back with shipping fees paid by us! We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us. Simply contact the office to set up this option.
We've run into a wide range of people and collections over the last 25 years. Although Just Collect is known for buying vintage sports cards and especially vintage baseball cards, we are also extremely interested in buying non-sports cards, too!
