Our Biggest  Pokémon Collection yet!

Just Collect is back to bring you another behemoth of a Pokémon collection featuring a ton of vintage cards and packs!

THE COLLECTION

As Just Collect breaks into the TCG space of the Hobby, we’ve been very lucky to receive more and more appraisal forms and phone calls with people wanting to sell their rare and unusual collections of Pokémon cards. In the age of social media, it’s easier than ever to do that, which is how our latest story found us.

A collector was looking to liquidate some of his Pokémon collection, and upon talking with some of his friends—one of which has a decent following in the Pokémon space—and learned of Just Collect. After doing some research and looking into how we conduct business, and with the help of his friend, he reached out to us. 

We bring you this collection now, which is just one of the many amazing finds you can see here at Just Collect! 

Starting with the 1999 WOTC Pokémon Base Foil Shadowless Pack with Charizard as the cover star in a PSA 10. Following that up is a beautiful 1999 Pokémon Game Charizard Holo PSA 10. Stunning 2009 Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Promo Holo Charizard G LV #DP45 PSA 10 and 2008 Pokémon Diamond & Pearl Stormfront Holo Charizard #103 PSA 10 were also showstoppers. While the collection features dozens of rare cards, these cards are the highlights for sure!

APPRAISAL AND PURCHASE

The collector first rang the store, and was directed to Sam, our leading expert on anything TCG here at Just Collect. After corresponding with Sam via email, he informed Sam that he had a set of the iconic 90s base Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizards, all in PSA 10s. This immediately piqued Sam’s interest and he had to know more. There was a slight miscommunication, as Sam thought the client only had one set.

The client then informed Sam that he had more than just one set of these cards, but he had multiple and plenty of others from different sets, all collected over his years as a Pokémon enthusiast. Sam, as expected, was blown away by this and eagerly awaited the client’s arrival to our office in Summit, NJ . Sam quickly met with the client and went to work, uncovering an amazing collection of vintage graded cards and packs.

Just Collect knows a thing or two about Vintage, but with such a startlingly collection, Sam definitely had his work cut out for him with a slew of vintage high grade Charizards and 90’s graded packs.

Every step of the way, the client was involved in our process, being able to reach out to Sam for updates and even stated that he appreciated the transparency and care he put into evaluating the collection and keeping him up to speed in how the evaluation was going.

Just Collect absolutely couldn’t pass up such a rare collection—to have multiple graded Charizards is rare, but to have them graded as PSA 10s was like striking oil for Sam and he knew he needed to reach a deal. Suffice to say, we managed to reach a deal!

If you have a valuable collection and want us to come to you, we'll hop on the next plane out.

If you're near New York City and would like to meet in a public place, our owner, Leighton, would be happy to meet you; read all the information here.

• SHIP your collection

If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back shipping fees paid by us! We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us. Simply contact the office to set up this option.
