Earlier this month we told you about a T206 Honus Wagner card setting an all-time record in a 7.2 million-dollar sale. The price tag was 1 million dollars MORE than the old record. In just two weeks from today that short-lived record is poised to fall again. 

1952 TOPPS MICKEY MANTLE ROOKIE - 10 MILLION?

This incredible 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card was on display at The National. We were able to see this card up close and personal and shared that story with you. Graded a 9.5 (out of 10) by SGC, this Mantle rookie card is being offered by Heritage Auctions. As one of the highest-graded copies known to exist, we knew the value would certainly be within reach of the all-time record. Just HOW much will the Mantle break the record by? 

With TWO WEEKS left to bid at Heritage Auctions, the price is already at 6.4 MILLION dollars.

The estimated value is 10 million dollars. Given there are two weeks left to bid, we're bound to see the record fall, and fall by millions.
