We love teaming up with our sister company, Vintage Breaks, especially when it could help you land a card from names you loved watching as a kid or heard your dad tell you stories about. 1957 TOPPS BASEBALL CARD SET BREAK

New call-to-action

The cards you see above are the exact cards from the set break. The 1957 Topps has full-color photo, each surrounded by a white boarder. Topps chose this year to include each player's full career stats on the backs of each card, too. Well before the Internet was around, how else would you have known the number of home runs Mickey Mantle through his career? Mick's 173 round trippers were now on the back of your bubble gum card. You'll notice the size of the 1957 cards above is the same size as modern cards; this was the first year that Topps decreased the size of each card to the "standard" size of 2.5 x 3.x5 inches that you recognize today.

Highlights include:

  • Mickey Mantle graded PSA 4
  • Frank Robinson rookie card graded PSA 7
  • Brooks Robinson rookie card graded PSA 3
  • Don Drysdale rookie card graded PSA 3
  • Willie Mays graded PSA 4
  • Roberto Clemente graded PSA 3
  • + more stars and Hall of Famers!

As there are 407 cards in the set, only 407 spots in the break will be sold - this ensures that you will take home a card from the set. The list of name is always randomized LIVE on the show as the break occurs; you have the same chance as everyone else in the break to land the cards you desire. For example - If you land on spot #407 after the random, you will take home card #407, the Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra Yankees' Power Hitters card!

Take a trip back to 1957 when Elvis bought Graceland (for only $100,000!), a Coke set you back a nickel, and the Detroit Lions were NFL Champions. Yes, these cards have been around since the days the Lions were the best team football; you know these cards have some stories to tell.

FREE APPRAISAL

We offer many ways to evaluate your cards other than using our website, too.

  • Travel to us

If you can make the trip here like the son from my hometown did for this collection- we can make a deal at the office. We once met a father-son duo that drove eight hours from Virginia to meet us to sell a Michael Jordan rookie card stored in Tupperware since 1986 - great read here

  • Come to a convention

We keep a LIST of the card shows we'll be attending.  Come stop by the Just Collect table and chat.

  • Meet in-person

If you have a valuable collection and want us to come to you, we'll hop on the next plane out. We recently took a trip to California to purchase a collection that included three Jackie Robinson 1948 Leaf rookie cards that you can read about here.

  • Meet in New York City

We have another location in New York you can meet us at; read all the information here.

  • SHIP your collection

If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back with shipping fees paid by us!  We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us. Simply contact the office to set up this option.

OUR BUYING PHILOSOPHY

We've run into a wide range of people and collections over the last 25 years. Although Just Collect is known for buying vintage sports cards and especially vintage baseball cards, we are also extremely interested in buying non-sports cards, too!

Every collection and every collector is different and we treat EVERY collection with the respect and attention that we show for our own collections. We understand that many have put their heart and souls into building their collections. So when you're ready to sell, we understand the feelings that you're going through and will work with you to help you reach a decision that is a WIN/WIN, because if you're not happy, we're not happy.

Whether you have vintage cards or modern wax you want to sell, you can reach out to us any time!
