This might be one of the nicest-centered Ozzie Smith rookie cards we have seen. Our sister company, Vintage Breaks, pulled the Wizard fresh from a wax pack of 1979 Topps baseball cards - check out the condition on this Hall of Famer's RC!

Ozzie Smith is a legendary short stop. Enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame, "The Wizard" has 13 Gold Glove awards for his work in the field, earned 15 All-Star game nods, and won a World Series ring with the St. Louis Cardinals. Did you know that Ozzie actually started his career with the San Diego Padres? Before he was a Red Bird, Ozzie played for the Padres from 1979-1981 where he made an All-Star team and won a pair of Gold Glove awards.

It is as a Padre you'll see Smith in his rookie card. Our sister company, , did a pack break of 1979 Topps baseball where Smith's rookie resides and pulled this stunner fresh from the pack. You can see Ozzie in his Padres uniform, looking cool as he stares off into the distance. What do you think Ozzie is thinking about in the photo used for his Topps rookie card?

The centering on this card is SPECTACULR! This card won't get a PSA 10 with the corner but should grade well! The PSA Pop report has only FIVE 10's on the list. This Ozzie might have been one small corner ding from number six on the PSA report.
