The Cooperstown Classic is returning for 2023, and tickets are on sale now. You can also opt for the special Night at the Ballpark ticket to meet the players inside the Baseball Hall of Fame!

Another wonderful Memorial Day tradition continues as the Baseball Hall of Fame is bringing back the Cooperstown Classic for 2023!

Each year the HOF invites back former MLB players to suit up once again and take the field for you to watch a game of pure joy. Usually one player from each team is represented, and are coached by players that have been enshrined in the Hall.

This year the coaches are Rollie Fingers, Fergie Jenkins, Jim Kaat, and Jack Morris. More Hall of Famers will be announced as coaches, too. A partial lineup of players has been revealed; you can see the roster HERE. The game is set to take place on Saturday, May 27th at historic Doubleday Field in Cooperstown, just a minute down the street from the museum.

Tickets for the game are $20 for grandstand, $15 for baseline, and just $13 to sit in the outfield. You can also opt to purchase Night at the Ballpark tickets which allows you to meet the players ON THE FIELD after the game for photo opportunities. Ticket information is HERE.

Last year I went specifically to meet former Yankee, Nick Swisher, and he did not disappoint!

Before the game there was a Home Run Derby competition, where the outfield seats were the best to be in. Imagine spending $13 and catching a home run by a player you watched for their whole career? The game was filled with fun and laughs, and then I stepped on to the field to meet SWISH. I also took pictures with Tim Raines and, Wade Boggs; the 1996 Yankees is my all-time favorite team! Of course when I'm in Cooperstown, I always stop by the best place in the world to get fudge: Tin Bin Alley.
