This week, we are proud to offer this incredibly strong Ty Cobb card that presents initially with a solid EX to EX/MT obverse that has strikingly bold and vivid colors, fantastic registration and focus and surprisingly sharp corners. An E95 Cobb of this quality would typically retail in the $6000-10000 range. However, this stunning exemplar exhibits the slightest bit of paper loss on the reverse relegating this phenomenal piece of history to a harshly technical grade of PSA 2.  For the advanced collector or the shrewd investor, this offering affords the buyer a fantastic opportunity to purchase an early issue Ty Cobb with incredible appearance for a fraction of what one would expect. New Jersey based Philadelphia Caramel added their inaugural baseball card premiums to their confectionary products with this brightly colored candy issue in 1909.   A significant challenge to locate even in the poorest of conditions, the E95 set was the first baseball series issued by Philadelphia Caramel and featured 25 Major Leaguers.
