Most of the time we discuss sports cards and memorabilia here on the blog, but truth be told we love vintage non-sports material too. And if bidding is any indication, so do a lot of you. Right now, we’re offering a rare, high grade card from one of the most popular sets of all-time and it’s generating a ton of interest. Issued in 1952, the same year Topps unveiled its first-ever comprehensive baseball card set, Topps Look ‘N See features sports and historical subjects. You’ll find cards ranging from Babe Ruth to former first lady Dolly Madison. Not only were there not all that many issued, but those that have survived are rarely found in top condition. Meet the exception. We’re offering a PSA 8 Rembrandt from this iconic set, one of just four at the NM/MT level on PSA’s Population Report (none higher). Just 135 in total have been graded, so this card is extremely elusive. The top sets on PSA’s Registry have a cumulative GPA of around 8 so many collectors striving to move up the ladder are chasing this card. As you can tell from the bidding, there is intense interest in top quality cards from this 60-year-old set. As a Dutch painter of lasting renown, Rembrandt would appreciate the quality of this work. It boasts sharp corners, excellent color, focus and gloss and bright, white borders. It looks like it could have come out of a pack yesterday. At Just Collect, we love vintage cards of all kinds in high grade. There simply isn’t enough supply to meet the demand. If you’re holding some and considering selling them, we can’t stress how easy the process is through our services. We can pay you outright—quickly—or put your cards up for auction. Whether it’s another card from the 1952 Topps Look ‘N See set, a T206 Ty Cobb or a graded Michael Jordan rookie card, please give us a call or send us an email so discuss it. Have a huge collection? We can handle those too.
