Offered for your consideration this week is a stunning, high grade 1954 Topps Hank Aaron rookie card graded PSA 7 Near Mint. A youthful Aaron, considered by many PED detractors to still be MLB’s All-Time Home Run King, is featured on the obverse in a nearly perfect image, donning his Milwaukee Braves cap. Boasting incredibly clear image quality and none of the typical print imperfections, this image is about a perfect as you’ll find on any example. Additionally, the surface appears smooth and problem free and the borders are crisp and white. All four corners present very sharp and with no visible wear. Perhaps the only reason this card is not graded at least a full grade higher, is the slight tilt causing a slight variance in the centering, although it appears to fall within the technical qualifications for a NM/MT card. The reverse is just as nice, if not even better, than the obverse. Truly a high end example for the technical grade and one that would fit very nicely into most any collection!   Please check our other auctions featuring a near set break of a fabulous, high grade 1954 Topps Baseball Set with many PSA 7's, PSA 8's and a PSA 9! An absolutely stunning offering that you'll want to be sure to check out!
