Mickey Mantle cards, autographs, and memorabilia are some of the most desired items in our hobby. The 3-time MVP led his New York Yankees to 7 World Championships on his way to the Hall of Fame. Between 1951-68, The Mick knocked 536 home runs. When Mantle retired from baseball, only a handful of players had homered more times in their career. Mantle joined legends including Willie Mays and Babe Ruth in the "500 Home Run Club." Currently, only 28 players have reached the plateau. When Mantle touched home plate after slugging his 500th home run, it was truly special, and today you can own a piece of that history!

On Mother's Day, May 14th, 1967, Mantle hit a solo home run off Stu Miller of the Baltimore Orioles. In the bottom of the 7th inning, Mantle had a full count and the Yankees had two outs in a tied game (4-4). Mantle gave the Yankees a 5-4 lead in what would end up a 6-5 Yankees win.

This ticket is from that very game when Mantle hit his 500th home run! Section 10, box 24C, seat 1 at a price of a whopping $3.50 in 1967. Before cell phones and the Internet, someone could go to the Yankees game for less than the price of a coffee!

PSA has only graded 44 tickets from this game according to their population report, including this incredible example. Of the 44 graded tickets, PSA has only graded three examples higher than this PSA 4; there is one PSA 7 and two PSA 8. Ready to take home this treasure?
