Steve Sax has a very good MLB career. From 1981 to 1994, Sax won two World Series (1981, 1988), a Rooke of the Year award (1981), and five All-Star teams. He even made an appearance in a famous Simpsons episode, Homer at the Bat. Sax is now offering up his personal memorabilia at auction including his rings and trophies! A portion of the sales will go towards a foundation Sax set up for his late son, John -The Capt. John J. Sax Foundation.

Game one of the 1988 World Series ended in historic fashion. Kirk Gibson was called in to pinch hit with two hours in the bottom of the 9th inning while down 4--3. Gibson had injuries to both legs and could not start the game, but with one swing of the bat, his home run off of A's closer, Dennis Eckersley, made history. Steve Sax was on deck during this at-bat, witnessing the movement from the best spot in the house. The jersey did more than see the Gibson home run, too. Sax had a hit, stole a base, and scored a run in this game-worn jersey.

If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back shipping fees paid by us! We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us. Simply contact the office to set up this option.
