The seven-time Super Bowl champion even has a rookie card that brought in over two million dollars. Brady has nearly every record in the game you could think of: most passing yards, touch downs, wins, and most importantly he has seven Super Bowl rings. After announcing his retirement this week, all of the football cards Brady has appeared on over the last 22 years, as expected, rose in value. One of Brady's rookie cards even tallied over TWO MILLION DOLLARS! Here are some of the most recent sale prices of Brady's top cards:

2000 Playoff Contenders Rookie Championship Ticket

Only 100 copies of this card were made, and sale prices reflect that. This rookie card of Brady has commanded sale prices in the seven-figured range more than once. In March of 2021, a copy sold for 1.32 million dollars. A BGS graded copy sold this week for 2.3 million dollars! Of the top three most expensive football cards, this Brady Contenders rookie is first and third on that list.

2000 Bowman Chrome PSA 9

A PSA 10 copy of Brady's Bowman Chrome rookie, non-refactor, sold for $18,000

2004 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Gold

This /75 card from 2004 was also graded PSA 10 and sold for $12,500

2003 Topps Black Chrome Refractor

Limited to 599 copies, this PSA 10 version brought in $10,100 and had 28 bids on eBay.

2021 Mosaic Peacock

Even modern cards commanded top dollar this week. A Peacock insert from 2021 Mosaic sold for $1,850.

According to ESPN, searches for a Brady rookie card were up 476% a few days before the he announced his retirement. We can only imagine what that percentage will be this week!
