Sam Verdini of Loyalsock Township, Pennsylvania owns a piece of NBA history. In 1962, he attended a game with two of his buddies. It wasn't just any game, it turned out to be Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game against the New York Knicks. The attendance to watch history that night was over 4,000 people. Six decades later, he still has his ticket. 

After reminiscing about the game with one of the friends he attended the game with, Verdini revealed that he still had the ticket stub. It was in a junk drawer where it had been sitting for 60 years. Many years have passed, but the one thing Verdini remembers is one of Wilt's teammates being booed because he wasn't passing the ball to him. Verdini's friend told him something he didn't know: that his ticket stub was worth some money.

Taking advice from his friend, he had it checked out and it was sent to PSA and it returned with a grade of 1.5 (MK). It is now headed to Robert Edwards Auctions. The ticket is expected to be sold for six figures. Earlier this year, another ticket, graded a 3, from Wilt Chamberlain's historic night had a final sale price of $107,828.40!

If you choose to mail your cards for an appraisal, we will evaluate your cards for FREE still. If you choose not to sell the cards, we'll ship them back with shipping fees paid by us!  We can offer our FedEx account with 2-day shipping, fully insured, all covered by us.
