Sneak Peek at the Set We're All Waiting For
  • February 24, 2021

Panini released a first-look at the new cards we're all waiting to get our hands on - 2020-21 NBA Prizm!  Take a look at the most anticipated set of the year.

The biggest set of 2021 is coming our way very soon, and Panini just dropped a sneak peek for us!  Check out what we can expect from PRIZM.

This blog is sponsored by JUST COLLECT where we specialize in buying vintage cards, autographs, and collections but we LOVE some modern cards and wax just like PRIZM.  THESE cards are on our BUY LIST if you're interested in selling!

PS  - don't forget about our Golden Edition EVENT where we're giving away over $3,000 in break credit you could use to snatch up Prizm packs!  Check out our event HERE.

We know there will be a variety of parallels to go with the sneak of the inert list, including a 1 of 1 Black parallel!

I know we'll see Zion and Ja in their sophomore editions and I'm hoping the top rookies like LaMelo Ball, James Wiseman, and Tyrese Haliburton will be in the set.  Always great to collect vets like LeBron and Steph, too.

The insert I'm eying down is the Prizm Flashback!  Panini is taking us back to the start of the product from 2012-13.  There will be 15 players inserted.  I LOVE flashback/retro cards.

We're holding for the official release date!  The tentative release date was March 3rd.  Once we get the true release date, we'll post it for you.

The way LaMelo HOOPS rookies have been selling, that Ball rookie above should catch your eyes if you spot one opening the pack.  I'm also a fan of second-year player cards.  The 1981 Topps Larry Bird has been HOT. Even in a PSA 9, a second-year Larry is around $2,000 at the time of this blog.  A PSA 10 is easily 20K.  Our sister company, Vintage Breaks, did a pack opening with Holly Sonders and pulled mint Larry!  Check out their story here.

Vintage Breaks will be the place to get into pack or box breaks for Prizm went it drops, too.  If retail shelves have been cleaned and you're not near an LCS, hop into a Vintage Breaks pack break!

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE NEW PRIZM?

After looking at the preview, what do YOU think of the new Prizm product?  Are you a big fan of the Flashback insert idea like I am?  Chat us up with your thoughts!
